About
Peer Sathikh decided to become a full time faculty after a 22 year career as a practicing industrial designer, which took him through 3 continents and 5 cities.
Peer's interest in culture and 'global' product started when he was once asked if he had any idea 'how the latest gizmo that he'd help design is being used'. This has led him to the belief that 'global' products may be designed for an 'universal' user, but when the product reaches societies with tradition of culture, tradition, ceremonies, etc., people use these products in ways that the designer had even dreamt about.
This has lead him to wonder , "how will these societies view robots and artificial intelligence" which is pointing him to some interesting experiments and studies.
