About
Ina Conradi has been experimenting for last 25 years with mixed-media art. Current research undertaken at School of Art Design and Media is continuing into exploring image making methodologies on a larger scale creating illusions that transform the viewer's perception of actual space in a synthesis of the real and virtual. Drawing on the ideas of merge of digital painting and avant-garde film-making and sound cultures, her current work aims to craft meaningful interactive installations and transform spaces into novel experiences through convergence of art and technology.
Ina received her BFA in (Textile Painter) from University of Belgrade Faculty of Applied Arts and MFA from University of California Los Angeles in 1989. As a Japan Foundation Fellow 1991-1992 she studied at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and Kyoto Seika College. Her teaching experience involves California State University Long Beach, LASALLE College of the Arts and since 2007 School of Art, Design and Media, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
